How to a new block to your homepage or a page on your site

Ensure you are logged in to your WordPress admin panel.

Step 1:

Go to appearance

Step 2: 

Hit themes and then customize on your active theme

Step 3:

Add a block to the desired area of your page by clicking on the nearest block you can see, then hit the three dots in the editor block and then select ‘insert before’ or ‘insert after’ 

Step 4:

Either above or below you’ll see the line ‘type / to choose a block’ and from there you’ll be able to select the new block from the options available
